My Personal, Professional, Emotional & Spiritual Journey To Becoming Your Host

The Early Years

I’m the eldest of eight children, born in Bristol and raised in Leamington Spa. From a young age, I learned to be capable, responsible, and 'good'. I wanted to be just like my dad — successful, intelligent, ambitious — but often felt unsure of where I truly belonged.

I met my now-husband at 18 and launched into a nearly decade-long career in sales, marketing, and executive training and mentoring. I was driven to succeed and prove myself. It was here that my love for helping people find meaning and fulfilment in their work truly began.

Externally, life looked great. Internally, I was still that little girl who believed she had to be polite, pretty, and likeable to succeed.

The Turning Point

Motherhood led me to therapy, where I began to unpack the deep conditioning that shaped my sense of self — as a woman, a mother, and a human being. I didn’t want my daughters to grow up feeling the same powerlessness I had carried for so long. They became my driving force.

Therapy was a lifeline — and eventually, a calling. I retrained as a psychotherapist and achieved a First Class Honours degree — a huge personal milestone given how much I’d once doubted my academic abilities. I had spent so long believing I wasn’t 'smart enough.' Realising that wasn’t true reshaped how I saw myself and made me question what other limits I’d internalised.

This path allowed me to merge ambition with purpose — for the first time, I felt truly aligned.

The Crisis

After becoming a stay-at-home mum, my sense of identity began to unravel. I deeply valued being at home with my daughters — but alongside love and purpose came feelings of invisibility, disconnection, and a loss of self. Having seen my own mum sacrifice so much raising eight children, I became determined not to lose myself in the same way — but I could feel it happening.

I realised how much my worth had been tied to productivity, ambition, and external success. Motherhood challenged all of that.

Professional Work

For nearly a decade, I’ve held space for individuals, couples, and groups — guiding thousands of hours of therapy and coaching. My private practice has evolved into something far deeper than a service — it’s become a sacred space for transformation, truth-telling, and reconnection.

From being a therapist to corporate leadership, mentoring and training others to succeed —it is the relational work that lights me up most. I want to understand and help others understand what drives us toward purpose, what makes relationships thrive, and how we access our most authentic selves.

Along the way, I’ve woven together my experience in education, psychotherapy, coaching, and mentoring — not as separate identities, but as expressions of the same calling: to help people return home to themselves.

How cute are these two?
I had everything I thought I wanted — and yet I felt so alone. The only conclusion I could draw at the time was that something must be wrong with me.
But what I didn’t realise then was that this pain wasn’t a flaw — it was a signal. A call to come back to myself.

Why Women

While I work with everyone, my soul’s calling is with women. I’ve seen how many of us shrink ourselves — silencing our truth, over-giving, and disconnecting from our own desires. We’re taught that power is threatening, that softness is weakness, and that our needs come last.

Through thousands of hours sitting with women in the therapy room, I’ve witnessed a deeper truth — that healing doesn’t just come from insight or language, but from something far greater. There is an energy that moves between people — a force I can only describe as magic. It’s the power of presence, of truth, of being seen without judgement. This is the feminine. And we need more of it in our homes, our culture, and our world.

As I’ve transitioned from the all-consuming role of motherhood into a deeper embodiment of womanhood, I’ve come to see that it is my feminine energy — not just my ambition or strength — that holds the key to what’s next. I want to live from this place. I want to model it for my daughters. And I want to help other women do the same.

This calling has led me into a deep dive into spirituality, embodiment, and energy work. I’ve studied the chakra system, explored energy healing modalities, and attended talks and workshops with teachers such as Eckhart Tolle, Caroline Myss, and Marianne Williamson. What I’ve come to believe — through study and experience — is that healing isn’t just about doing the work cognitively. It’s energetic. It’s sacred. And often, it’s unspoken.

It’s from this exploration — and a desire to reclaim the power, softness, and wisdom within — that Home of Consciousness was born.

How I Hold Space for You

When you step into this space, you are met with presence, depth, and intention. I honour your time because I know it’s precious—our work together isn’t just another task on your to-do list; it’s a sacred investment in yourself. I believe knowledge is more than just facts or theory—it’s the expansion of awareness, the language your intuition speaks to guide you home to yourself.

And above all, I value relationships. Healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I create an environment of honesty and openness, where growth happens not through force or striving, but through real connection—with yourself, with others, and with the truth of who you are.
